Finally! September is over!

2 days to Gundam Seed Destiny!

To help promote the event, I decided to mess something up for kicks.

Hehehe...I'm not much of a Kira fan, but I can't a decent Shinn picture. LoL.

Song of (whatever) switched to One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children's OST. I didn't like the old versions, as it had a little too much choir, but I loved this one. The rock addition was probably the keystone in the entire song.

-I am satisfied with the college administration (P, VP, HODs, Office Staff).

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

No. SD all the way!

-I feel that the contributions of the CIP activities that I have engaged in are significant to the society.

I still fail to see how getting people to drop money into a tin can can really help.

-The instructor or coach engaged under the CCA I belong to provides quality service.

What instructor? We have requested for an I Chess coach/ Bridge coach, and we have not obtained anything, with the funding being the main issue.

-The college has a good public image.

20/20 Slacker college! \o/

-Students in TPJC generally demonstrate the college values (commitment, teamwork, passion for life, perseverance, innovation, independent learning).

Since when?

-The canteen food is of acceptable standard.

Even my pet cat get better food at home, and we are talking about biscuits here.

-I am able to gain access to computers in the college when I need them.

I would, if those guys in the library isn't always on Yahoo Pool/forum searching/blog surfing.

-The formal leadership training I received is effective.

Not for me, but when I saw this, I was laughing.

Since when did we have a training?

-Overall, I am satisfied with the college.

Give a guess, genius. <3

Somethings which I forgot to add yesterday: Emotion lyrics, and Pani Poni Dash!

The banner is taken from Pani Poni Dash! An anime which is funny as hell. It's about this teacher, Rebecca Miyamoto, who's a genius, and graduated from MIT at the age of 11. Yes, 11. Since she's taken a teaching job in a high school, she's got to discipline people who are much older than her. While she carriers herself as an adult, she still acts like a child at times (Sensei ma so, baka! [note that my japanese is horrible. Rofl] (I'm a teacher, idiot!!) ), and sulks when she does not get some of the things she wanted.

That's why this show is funny as hell to watch. Toss in a teacher who's drunk half of the time (female too), and an old geezer, and they have a receipe for success. I was rather sceptical of this anime at first, but because one of my net friends is in the sub group, I decided to download it as a sign of support.

And hell, was that a good decision. The girls that Rebecca, or Becky, as they call her, also have a great invidual characters in them, as each of them are different. You have the slacker-cum-genius, a study bug, the wierd dude, and so on.

It sounds almost like any other class in any JC. LoL.

On top of that, Rebecca is being monitored by Aliens, who have selected her for "Bio data sample", or whatever that means. The aliens themselves make quite a joke, as their captain is a huge slacker, who forever tells his subornates what they should do, while he goes on napping.

Also, the references to other things in this anime are plentiful. There is barely a moment without a reference to something else, such as Astroboy or Vampire Hunter D.

All in all, a very very good anime.

And did I mention that Rebecca Miyamoto is "omega kawaii" as well? =P

In your shadow is something I can make out to be your smile.
My tear drops remain hidden as they are.
In the place of ope I compose the surface.
I don't realy understand the concept of being alone.
Open the door to the future - It's starting to run.

Emotion! The sky surely reflects a model of my dream.
Letting this resonating impulse fly away.
Emotion! Gently, I count the dreams I've had of you.
Quietly shut your eyes and then hold me.

The small wounds of mine go along with the rhythm.
And to you, I give the melody of truth.
In this quiet night, I outline the looking glass.
To you, I am your darkened sadness.
I can't turn back the days though my thoughts sway towards another person.

Emotion! Surely, I will be the guardian of the fledglings now.
I can do it in the light and in darkness.

Relation! I want to purge my emotions more now
The only thing that will come are the shy words.
Relation! Only the unwavering truth should show up and shine.

Emotion! The sky surely reflects a model of my dream.
Letting this resonating impulse fly away
Emotion! Gently, I count the dreams I've had of you.
Gently shut your eyes and then hold me

Could not find them on the net, so I decided to take it out from Gundam Seed Destiny Episode 48 myself. It was tiring, but I think I now respect the fan subbers more than ever, since they take time to time the script, translate, and typeset. Thanks fo Xero-Sux (Rofl at the group name. It's rumored that they consist of the other half of Cellphone^2 subs who did not make the switch to Hiro when Cellphone^2 broke up.) for the translation!

...time to start studying.

So, despite my best efforts to study, I flunked Maths, and Chem paper 3. While I have no idea what the hell I'll get for Chem papers 1 and 2, I am pretty miserable now.

Physics is one of those which I am destined to fail, so hell with it.

Anyway, the new blog banner will last quite a bit. I can't get the grayscale to work as well as I've liked, but I think 80 pixels should be enough, or there won't be much of a picture left.

Winter will be asleep for a bit, unless I absolutely needs her. Need to start concentrating a lot more on my studies..>_<

Oh well.

Song of (whatever) switched to Emotion, by Rie Tanaka, which appeared in GSD episode 48. Rie Tanaka also voiced Lacus Clyne and Meer Campbell in Gundam Seed Destiny.

Love her voice. It cheered me up when I was feeling **** after I knew of my maths results.

Speaking of Gundam Seed Destiny, episode 1 is starting this SUNDAY at 11AM on Kidscentral! I highly recommend watching this series, which has held me captive since Late October last year. Episode 50 (Last episode) will also be released by the Sub-groups at around the same time.

The rise and fall of Pokemon...and some other trash games which is doomed to fail.

I was surfing the net a few days back, when I encountered a forum thread going "How did Pokemon End?"

Amused, I clicked on the thread, hoping to find out how the TV show ended.

To my disappointment, it has not ended yet.

Incredible...

Pokemon, as everyone should know, first came out in the GameBoy system, is a game where you have to go all over the world, capturing pokemon of all kinds, defeating Gym leaders to earn badges, before stepping all over the Elite Four, after which, you can claim the title of "Pokemon Master".

Initially, I was totally hooked to the game, the idea was so simple, yet so effective. There is this random battle thingy, and you get to capture pokemons to do your bidding for kicks, however sick you are. As a guy without a PlayStation, this RPG idea was totally new and fantastic to me. I remember playing the game on my PC for hours at one end.

When I got a Gameboy Pocket as a present on my 13th birthday, I immediately went to buy Pokemon Yellow, playing the game one more time (I completed Blue and Red before that). However, with a Gameboy, I was able to challenge friends, trade pokemon, hence opening up a new door to the game. With that, I actually went to capture all 151 pokemon, most of them officially, where you toss a ball at the half dead pokemon, or you lure the poor sucker out with a super rod, before tossing more balls.

When Pokemon Gold and Silver was released, once again, I was very excited. New adventures, new pokemon to do my perverted bidding (I loved to send level 2 pidgeys to fight against Mewtwo. Rofl.).

However, as the game progressed, I was rather disappointed. I realised that the new pokemon was roughly the same as the older ones. All the weird names, and all the whatever rubbish was too alien to me. Although I did complete the game by trashing ketchup, or Red as he's called in the Japanese version, it did get boring. Even so, I completed the game 4 times (Japanese, translated, English, GameBoy version), each time choosing different teams to go against the Elite Four.

However, by the time I've completed the game the forth time, the fire is gone. This can be easily seen by me not even bothering to obtain Ruby and Sapphire. Even when Fire Red and Leaf Green appeared, I merely played the game once (Emulator had some problem, and hence I did not bother to force feed my charlizard rare candy any more), and it was by rushing though the entire game, which means gamesharking it.

Besides the game, there's also the famous Television show, which had about as many fillers as Detective Conan's shows. Initially, when I heard of the show, I was rather excited, as I was still in the "poke-craze". In fact, the first...7 episodes were excellent, with the Gym battle with Brock being fantastic.

Sadly, the show went down hill after that.

Every week, I Switch on the TV, hoping that it will be a gym battle, instead of some trash filler where Ash (Satoshi, in Japanese) visits a new town, gets into some trouble.

And Team Rocket appears.

Jessie and James are probably the worst things which could happen to the series. Sure, there's a need for a villian in cartoons, but having them appear every week, attempting to steal that yellow rat (pikachu) in almost the same fashion every week gets boring after...oh, 1 episode or so. And every week, that yellow rodent will simply thundershock those poor team rocket retards, and they will blast off.

So, one huge problem with the show was Team Rocket appearing every week.

What's another?

Simple, the motto where you "Gotta Catch them all".

We don't see Ash flinging out pokeballs every time he sees a new pokemon. Heck, he just pokes that Pokedex more then he does tossing those balls. In fact, Ketchup even lets pokemon go, after they become good (Charlizard, Butterfree, Primeape, to name some). Sure friendship is a great thing, but it's funny when you are in a show where you should not be letting Pokemon go. Butterfree, I can understand, but Charlizard..?

>_>

Oh well.

The downfall can be seen easily. 3 years ago, that yellow rat is everywhere, now, there's barely a sign of that electric thing. The crappiness of the television show, on top of the game makers being unable to input new ideas into the game (It's the same walk around, catch some l337 pokemon, then trash gym leaders. Repeat.), was what caused Pokemon to fall from it's once mighty status.

Sad though. I used to love it.
--

My mom decided to buy a Teenage Magazine in order to inject some new life into a guy who never reads any type of magazines, except for Time or Reader Digest (Lime when there's a good poster, and that's rare as hell these days).

In it, was a CD to install Ice World, created by Eden II, who made other..."notable" games such as "World of Qin".

After tossing the CD onto my disc drive, it came out almost immediately, as if my CD drive is puking it out, telling me that I should not install the game. Undaunted, I forced my CD drive to swallow it.

Immediately, I know something isn't good.

The installer is done on a Macromedia flash.

Everyone uses Installation wizard these days.

On top of it, it does not give me an option as to where I want to install the game. It only goes straight into C:/Program files folder. So, if I had like 7gigs of porn, hentai, music, ISOs, leaving no space whatsoever on my drive, I won't be able to install it.

Thankfully, they are all on my secondary drive.

After installation, I was directed to the EdenII portal, where I have to register an account to play. Since this is the norm for most games, I did so.

When I am finally allowed to start the game (by double clicking the icons they forcefully tossed onto my desktop, and everyone knows that I like to keep my desktop clean), I am, once again, directed to the edenII website. After Navigating through a series of links, I waited in anticipation as I clicked the "Play Now!" button of Hyperrelay.

A small window bounced up instead, telling me to install ActiveX. Since it was on Internet Explorer, a browser with more loopholes than a swiss cheese poked with a million toothpicks, I switched to my trusted Firefox browser and attempted to visit the site.

To my amazement, they told me to use IE to visit the site instead.

Strike One.

Bloody hell, IE is one of the easiest ways for Spywares/Ad-wares to be installed in your computer. The reason why I switched to Firefox was because my computer had a spyware/ad-ware invasion due to years of surfing through the net. I could not surf for 5 minutes, before some pop-up appeared. I got so pissed, because I was playing net-tetris one day, and some pop-up appeared, ending a game which I was on the verge of beating my own high score.

That was why I use only firefox these days.

Anyway, I searched the site for some sort of a FAQ as to playing the game when it ****ed up on you.

There was none.

Strike 2.

I had to check their forum, where there's a thread telling you how to fix the problem, which involved uninstalling the game, and installing it one more time by download the client from their site.

Which makes me wonder what the hell the CD is for.

It gets better.

After following the instructions on the screen, I finally got the game started.

So, you give people a CD, tell them to go to ICE World, but don't tell them that you need some sort of subscription before you play the games?

Strike 3.

Fantastic.

Anyway, after testing them all out, I finally got 1 game working: Hyper Relay. Basically, it's like a Bishi Bashi style of game, where you use your arrow keysand the space bar to play, for example, a game where you drop the food by looking at the outline. In fact, there are quite a lot of games which are almost the same, if not the same, as Bishi Bashi, except there isn't button meshing games, which was the trade mark of Bishi Bashi. There's this practise area, where you can practise...like 9 out of the 20 games, and of the 9, you don't need to practise 6 of them.

To make matters worse, there isn't the instructions page like the one you see in Bishi Bashi. So, me, being a total newbie, have no idea what to do in any of the games when I first started. The "instructions" page merely tell you what buttons to use, but not a single word is said as to what to do at what time. To top it off, nothing is said on the webpage as well.

Of course, there's also a team game, where you work with 1 or 2 other people (6 per room, how gunbound like...), to defeat your opponent by doing better then him. So, expect stacked teams, and the like.

All in all, it bored me in like...an hour or so. This is because the games were the same, even though you play 10 rounds before you determine the winner, and there's 20 games for the system to choose from. Heck, the system usually chooses the same games again and again. The learning curve was not steep, but mastering some games required quite a bit of time, and even after an hour, I still suck in some games.

If you are looking for something to pass time, grab it. If not, head to the arcade and play the real thing.

An outing to remember for a while...

...because it's the last outing till the As, since my parents made sure of that, as I came back at almost 2 hours after the set curfew.

LoL.

Not that I'm thinking of going out anymore either. Final stretch, the last 500m, final lap, 1st and goal.

Whatever you want to name the A levels.

Still, it's an outing with Fengzhi which I enjoyed. Totally.

I went to Marina Square at around 12, although I left my house at 11:15, to get the tickets at the Cinema. I knew I was cutting it rather close, and I'm usually not the type to be late, as I hate to make people wait.

Thankfully, Fengzhi was late, as I merely got to the City Hall MRT station at around 12:26 (4 minutes to spare. Do the math.)

And so, as I was still rather early, as Fengzhi got held up, I decided to observe the crowd at the MRT station.

Most of the tourists did not know how to use the Tapz card system, as they tried to slot the card into some sort of imaginary hole which exists only for them. Only when the staff told them how to do it, did they get through the gate. Also, if you thought that the signs directing people to the train tracks were dummy proof, think again. I saw at least 2 person asking for direction. Thankfully, the train master did not give the "You are STUPID" look, and simply directed them. I guess they are used to such Idiocy.

At around 12:50, Fengzhi arrived, and we headed to the noodle bar at City Link Mall. I have to say that it's my first time eating there. Tried the Salmon Udon, not too bad, although it isn't the best I've tried. Still, the atmosphere made up for it.

After lunch was messing around till 3:30, as the movie only starts at the stated time. Marina Square has been newly renovated, and there are quite a lot of interesting shops there. I'm really not the one to talk, as the last time I've been to Marina Square was on 2001 or something, but I did enjoy the new area quite a bit.

And so, after talking, walking (Candy Empire > j00), time brought us towards watching Cinderella man. Rotten Tomatoes.com gave it a 80% rating, rather high, compared to some of those being shown right now. After watching the movie, I have to agree with the review.

One would be fooled by the movie title to think that this is some fairy tale prince getting his girl, blah blah blah. However, within the first 3 minutes of the show (minus the Advertisments), a boxing match will set the tone of the movie almost immediately. The whole show was about this boxer, how he fell, and how he rose once again, hence his nick name "Cinderella Man", as it was almost like a fairy Tale. The great thing about this show is that it moved slowly, developing every aspect neatly, and closely, while not spending time in a way which dwelled in a place for too long. Each boxing match was very well done, as Russell Crowe, the main actor, showed true pain when hit, and true determination in his eyes when he needed to win. The actors have all acted rather well, with Russell Crowe (No need to introduce this fella..) and Renée Zellweger (Chicago) working well as a couple together.

All in all, an excellent movie. 9.0/10 from the bird, as there was no gun fights, or it would have obtained 9.5, or possibily a 10.

LoL. I'll never make a good reviewer.

Anyway, the movie too longer than usual (my bad, should have checked the sites), and we had to rush a little bit to the Magical Fountain in Sentosa because, according to the site, "Please be seated before 7.00pm for the 7.40pm show. For the safety and comfort of our guests the gates to the show will be closed at 7.00pm or once we have reached full capacity.". So, in order not to avoid disappointment, we took the MRT to Habourfront, before taking a cable car over to the area, and finally a bus to the area.

To my surprise (at least), the gates were not closed on us (7:20pm, sounds like something out of the Amazing Race. LoL), but the entire center portion was more or less fully filled with Tourists, mostly from China, by the looks of it. The show itself was rather spectacular, as they used the water sprayed from the fountain as a screen for the laser display, while tossing in some jets of flames produced from a flame-thrower like device that are found on various areas of the stage. Rather cool, but the heat wave produced, and the lasers shining right into your eyes are not nice feelings, and are the only drawbacks to the otherwise storyless show.

Still, it's nice.

After that was dinner, before heading back home, even though I was already late before dinner. \o/. Oh well, since it's the last time, I didn't give much of a damn, and besides, I was enjoying myself.

Can't wait for Uni...

But in any case, thanks to Fengzhi for a really enjoyable day (which would be otherwise me sitting in front of the comp for 18 hours playing Guild Wars or something)! I enjoyed it a lot, and hope that you did too!

Hopefully, after the As, I can stay out longer. LoL.

\o/

EDIT: I forgot to add: At the last part, Fengzhi lost something once again! This time, it's her Ez-Link card. She somehow dropped it or something in Cheers!. Thankfully, the cashier kept it, but could not recognise the face that was on the Ez-Link card. XD!

Song of (whatever) changed to Honoo no Tobira, which is Gundam Seed Destiny's Insert Song, by FictionJunction YUUKA. A pretty decent one, which grows on you quickly. Seems like the producers are trying to make up for the mess they did for the 4th OP by tossing in 1 more insert song (Vestige was the other one)

XD @ Revolution's controller

http://cube.gamespy.com/articles/651/651283p1.html

Is that a TV remote? XD

Kudos to Nitendo for thinking out of the box though.

However, why can't they have simply went for the norm, a controller used by both hands, with the thumb meshing the buttons?

Simple.

Attracting more gamers.

Nitendo's Consoles have been known for more casual gamers, with titles such as Donkey Kong and Pokemon Stadium (Of course, games such as WWE:Day of Reckoning 2 is there for the hard core gamers). Hence, they are trying to attract more casual gamers to buy their consoles, people who are willing to spend an hour or two a week to enjoy, but is too busy to spend hundred of hours to complete a RPG.

With the surprising Success of Nitendogs (I thought that it was doomed to fail) for the Nitendo DS, it shows Nitendo's dominance on the Casual Gamer's market. The fact that they are introducing a new controller altogether, shows that they want to inject something new for the hard core gamers, while telling the casual ones that they are different from Consoles produced by Sony and Microsoft, which engineers towards the direction of hard core gamers.

The console gaming market is rather competitive these days, with only 3 companies sharing the pie (Sony is leading the pack though). While Sony and Microsoft tried to get people to buy their consoles by tossing in a lot of things, such as DVD player, MP3 player and so on, Nitendo, in my opinion, has it going in the right direction. Revolution is going to be simply a gaming console, nothing else. This obviously knocks the price down a bit, since if the console is going to include all sorts of nonsense, the developers will have an excuse to sell it at a much higher price. Once again, the aim to lure Casual gamers is there. Imagine this: You see PS3 selling at $400, but Revolution being sold at $250. As a casual gamer who just wants to play games to relax, Revolution comes as a natural choice. Also, by not throwing all the fancy stuff into Revolution, Nitendo has recognised that almost everyone has a computer, and a DVD player, and hence will not need such nonsense.

Way to go Nitendo.

Man, yesterday night was totally crap.

I usually sleep alone, but yesterday night, Maywind followed me into bed, since Winter is already fast asleep. In the darkness, she placed her arms around my neck, while whispering songs, trying to help me sleep, distracting my mind away from the rather depressing event. Songs such as Vestige, Pride and Reason were whispered into my ears, as she knew I simply loved those songs. With her voice in my ear, I slowly drifted off to a state of peace which I seldom have these days.

However, sleep did not last long. After an hour or so, I sat up from a rather annoying nightmare. Maywind was fast asleep beside me, and I did not want to wake her up.

Winter, probably disturbed by my sudden movements, rose from her slumber. Knowing that I had a horrible night, she accompanied me till almost 4am, as by then, I was already rather sleepy, and managed to fall asleep once again.

Thanks to the both of them, a horrible night which could have resulted in me being awake the entire night was made much sweeter, as I had something to take my mind away from that depressing incident.

I wonder what I would do without them....

And oh, Maywind is my MP3 player, and Winter is my Computer. =P

Chelsea unbeaten!

So far.

Hehe. 2-0 to Charlton.

Song of (whatever) switch to On the Other Side of the Street, by Hiroto Saitoh, from the Berwick Saga ~Lazberia chronicle chapter 174~ Soundtrack. There are times when Godai says that a soundtrack is brillant.

Sometimes he's wrong.

But more often, he's right.

He's right this time. I just love this soundtrack. It's extremely powerful, in terms of the sound, although Hiroto Saitoh is probably the composer who composed the songs which I like. However, I have yet to completely listen to the entire album, as the whole damned thing is close to 3 hours, with 3 discs.

Age of Empires 3, a first view.

Hmm, after I've download the trial yesterday, I finally got to play the game today.

Not too bad. To be exact, I was very disappointed with Age of Empires II, because I felt that it was too messy, way more messy then the first Age of Empires game, which had fluid motions and stuff. There's simply too many units, and way too much HP for some stuff. I mean, even with Tretchbuckets, you are still trying to attack some 10k hp wall with some foot soldiers doing 5 damage or something. The fact that Tretchies take like a few years to shoot a single fireball does not help.

However, AoE III is much more clean then AoE II, with the number of units reduced considerably. Heck, you will find yourself heading towards the barracks a little too often, and I found myself building at least 2, if I want to survive against the "hard" difficulty. Building a fort is also critical, as it acts as a stronghold against an enemy, since it can defend itself, and also produce almost every unit (bar the cannons and the ships) in the game. Units can be "upgraded", the norm from the AoE I.

One major addition to this game is the ability to build trading posts. Trading posts are built on trading routes, as well as on Native American camps. On trade routes, it allows you to receive trade by NPCs, which comes once every 5 seconds or so. It depends on your level of trading, which can be upgraded at any trading posts on the route. The highest level is by using trains, which allows very quick gain of resources. Having command of the trade routes is critical, as it allows quick supply of resources.

Building a trading post on a native American camp site allows you to train native American warriors, which pretty much are like normal troops. However, they are a little over balanced, as they are rather strong. Other then the troops and the upgrades for the horses movement, there isn't anything much about them.

Another major addition is the card system of the game. The cards acts as shipments, which allows you to send "stuff" from home, be it upgrades, resources, or extra men. You are allowed to have 20 cards in your deck, and different decks will allow different strats to be used. Like early rushes? Go for the deck which gives plenty of reinforcements and resources. Like to grow your empire? Go for the upgrades which help with your economy. Prefer Naval Warfare? Go for the ship decks. The cards allow almost limitless combinations of strats. One important card which everyone must have, is definately the fort, which as mentioned before, allows you to build a fort which acts as your headquarters to harass your enemy.

Experience has also been added to this game. When you build something, kill an enemy, explore somewhere, you gain experience. Experience allows you unlock new cards (A huge incentive to play the missions...), and also allows shipments to be sent. It's like the usual Level up! thingy you find everywhere these days, as when you level up, you get new upgrades and stuff.

With Heros being first being fully used in Warcraft III, it seems like every other game has it. AoE III has this explorer dude which helps you to explore and pick up treasure, usually pityful amounts of resources. Other then the ability to build a trading post himself, he isn't exactly special. Except, he can't die. Hence, when you reduce his health to 1, he will lie on the ground, until he regains some health. The fun thing is, the ability to kidnap him. Simply place a whole platoon of Musketeers around him, and he won't be going anywhere. Better yet, surround him with a wall, and he WILL definately won't be going anywhere. To get him out, you have to send in a rescue squad to distract the enemy, so that he can sneak away easily, or simply pay 100 gold to the one that killed your explorer, and he will walk right out of your town center.

Perhaps the most important change of the game is the resource gathering system. The new systems allows resources to "teleport" back to your town centers, meaning that you have no need for any drop points, a main feature in almost every single RTS. So, your resource gathers can actually go off to some off shore island and farm for all they care. Heck, they can simply head into the enemy's base and join their peasants in gathering wood, and no one would probably notice.

So far, the trial looks rather promising, although I don't think I will buy it. This is because I'm rather unsure of the multiplayer system, which, as most microsoft games are, could be totally rubbish. All you need might be MSN, and you can play online with your friends.

Even so, October 24th is the release date, which I'm looking forward to. Perhaps I might buy the game if I find that it is nice, after I obtained it, using the letters beside V and R on the keyboard. =P

Physics is screwed!

Especially after paper 1. I kinda gave up on it after question 20, as my eyelids became rather heavy.

At least Paper 2 was not...too bad. The last question which was on something out of Syllabus (Option of Phyics of Materials, actually), was probably my favourite question of all.

Oh well.

To maths!

Final Fantasy VII : Advert Children

Note: Spoilers on FFVII:AC and Detective Conan's 9th movie

So, since there isn't any papers today, I've decided to make full use of my free day today.

To watch Final Fantasy VII: Advert Children, and Detective Conan's 9th movie, Strategy above the depths.

The conan movie was alright, the usual stuff, with Ran dreaming of Shinichi and stuff. Didn't expect too much from it. 8.5/10.

Now, FFVII:AC...

The storyline is pretty much the usual B movie type, with some dudes wanting to get Jenova's head to recreate Seperioth. However, while it is as straight forward as it sounds, the producers at Square-Enix still somehow managed to mess the story up, particularly in the early parts of the movie. With no proper introduction, as the background info came pretty much later, and all the "skipping scenes" (Watch it to understand better, it's just like he's in place A, then suddenly, he dreams of place B, then he's back at place A) made me confused as hell.

However, it settled down pretty much an hour into the show, as the main idea slowly creeped into my head, and the action finally began. The fight scenes were done very well, with the fast paced action that will make you hang on to your seat. While fans have been complaining that it is too "DBZ" like, with most of the fights in the air, I'm not complaining, as it was done rather well, and could have degraded to the Naruto style of fighting (1 punch, 129037869 words. Repeat), especially when Seppy appeared towards the end. The ending was one of the few parts where the producers seem to have got the storyline under control. It's almost like watching them wrestle with a wild bear for 85% of the show, then watch them finally tame the bear at the last 15%. Like most of the Final Fantasy games, the ending is one of those which tries to be tear jerking, but it just did not have the effect of FFIX/FFX's endings, which are very strong. But still, it's good enough as an ending.

The music, by Nobuo Uematsu, is sadly, pretty much remixed versions of the music found in the Final Fantasy VII game, considered a huge disappointment to many of us FF fans after the beauty of Final Fantasy VI's OST. When you hear the Piano version of the FFVII's battle theme when Tifa is fighting, you know something isn't going to be right, as Piano Battle Themes can never be, in general, as good as their normal counterparts. However, the voices of the actors more then make up for it, as they create the feelings of their atmosphere.

If there's one thing that shines, it must be the graphics. If you thought that Final Fantasy: Spirits Within's graphics is good, wait till you see this one. It is simply excellent. Tifa looks as beautiful as ever, and Cloud seriously looks cool, even though he's supposed to be the sadistic guy in this show. Every bit of emotion, sadness, anger, joy, can be seen clearly on the character's faces.

Overall, a rather decent movie, considering that it came from a game and is totally animated....9/10.

Screens, 5/10 will be on Tifa. XD

Great graphics...^_^.

Tifa...<3

*"It is 1 O Clock, with no parallex error. You may begin."

The owner of that scratchy voice, a teacher, gave herself a smile, after repeating a joke that was not even a milimeter near funny.

The students would have moaned at hearing such a stupid and lame joke, however, many could not be bothered, their eyes staring hard onto the booklet in front of them, many with a pencil or pen in hand, some, already writing answers.

Physics Paper 3.

Every single person wearing that rather tasteless green uniform was working hard on the first question of the paper.

Among them, the bird.

Falcon.

1a(i) State the Principle of conservation of momentum.
1a(ii) State the principal of moment.

"Ha, easy.", said the one who spent a little over an hour ramming through the entire Syllabus.

And that was roughly the longest he had spent on physics the entire holiday.

"If I knew it was that easy, I sho-" Falcon smiled to himself, as he scanned the questions below.

A rude shock awaited him.

"Holy ****ing piece of ****ing ****!" Falcon almost swore aloud, as the words ceased to make sense to him. He thought that the teacher had given him something which was probably for the language school, as he tried to make some sense of the writing. However, on closer inspection, it's obviously English.

Except, it's in physics English.

A very very tough physics English....

"****" Falcon swore one last time, as he flipped through the paper.

2b(i) Dérivez comment la période de l'orbite d'un satellite est liée au rayon de son orbite.

4a Geben Sie die Bedingungen für das Herstellen einer gut definierten stationären Welle mit zwei seperate Quellen an.

6a Explain why light of specific wavelenths is produced in the gas discharged lamp

BANZAI! Finally. Civilisation! Houston, we have contact! It was like being one of the sole survivor of a plane which crashed into some remote island, living there for 2 weeks, before help came.

But still, 4 out of 6 questions in other different languages isn't going to help Falcon. Especially, when you have to choose 4 questions.

Thank god, it's only 4 questions. If Falcon had to complete the paper, he would have probably just walked out, not wanting to waste the marker's time, as well as his time.

By the time the paper ended, Falcon was in a bad mood. So bad, he has ceased to care that he's pissed about the paper, preparing for Thursday's Chem 2.

After all, he didn't study for physics.

"Oh well. There's always paper 1 and 2." Falcon told himself, in a failed attempt to boost his spirits.

Let's just hope it won't be all in Latin this time.

For a guy who most likely screwed up Chem paper 3...

Note: Extremely sexist views ahead (against women, since I'm a guy...).

I'm in an incredibly good mood.

Reason: Final Fantasy VII: Advert Children is finally released! At least the DVDrips are.

Hehehe.

In any case, Chem today was kinda fun, since I most likely messed around a little too much on my Bio chem option. I hope that the marker won't deduct too many marks from questions 1-8, since I doubt I got everything right.

Oh well.

GP was probably the best, with an essay question that is highly likely to grab the "Best. Question. Evar." award.

If women ruled, the world would be a better place. Do you agree?

ROFL! I can't help but let a laugh escape me when I read that, even more so, since it's the very first damned question on the paper. While I want to write a totally nonsensical essay which will show that this is otherwise (I'm feeling sexist these days. Sue me.), I found that I lack examples on women leaders who have led countries to ruin (Dowager was the only one which crossed my mind, with Margaret Thatcher being one of the leaders who would be on the "balance" point in my essay). Perhaps it's simply a lack of women leaders to start with, just as how it's difficult to name something which women invented. However, while women have their weak points, it's just like how man never grow up (somehow cars never seem to go old. From toy cars, to Skylines...)

I am thinking of writing something on this issue later, perhaps next week when I'm free.

Until then, to maths and physics!

Google Earth!

Woo hoo! Google has finally updated the pictures for Singapore! Instead of a blurry mess, we can see everything!

Or close to everything, since the damned clouds are blocking quite a few areas.

So far, I've found these more important spots:
-My house
-TPJC
-Ron's house
-Her house

Coral is sadly blocked by clouds, as is TPS, and as is Sean's house.

However, it's obvious that the images are not recent ones, MJC is still under construction. LoL.

Still, it's nice to see your house from a bird's eye view.

I just realised something: One possible reason for me winning the HoH yesterday, could be because she SMSed me early in the morning yesterday.

Hmm...

Hall of Heros!

Finally! After like the entire week of playing in the Tombs, I've finally met a team who has brought me to the top of the Tombs, otherwise known as the Hall of Heros.

On top of that, we won it twice, despite the fact that there are quite a few of us (myself included) heading to the halls for the very first time.

\o/

For those who has never played Guild Wars, Hall of Heros (HoH) is a Player vs Player arena, reachable only to those who have won in other "lesser" arenas. It's kind of like "Capture the hill" games you play from other games. In the HoH, you have this NPC called a Ghostly Hero. He will be the one to capture this spot in the center called the altar. The team whose hero is the last one to capture the altar, wins.

The first one was really tough. We were against Marvel Superheros and Black Rose Gaming, both elite guilds who have won HoH plenty of times (When you win the hall, your leader's name or your guild name will be displayed, telling everyone in the world), along with 2 other teams. Black Rose Gaming (surprisingly...) and another team got elimated early, and so, it's down to three.

We were pretty much on the losing end, as the other two teams has much better experience.

Still, with barely 2 minutes left, we captured the central Altar, as our Ghostly Hero somehow sneaked up there and captured it. Since the rest of the heros were dead, we win, even though our entire team got wiped out!

The second one was even more funny. We had to defned our altar against a team running a pet build. However, the pet build is a self healing build, and hence, they have no healer. The game turned out to be pretty much a joke, as they were unable to heal their ghostly hero.

The third one was the one which we lost, but just barely. It was against 2 European teams. Since we were down 1 man (had 7 instead of 8), we did try our best, but ultimately, we got owned.

However, the final part was pretty funny. Our ghostly died, and so did one other team's ghostly (Team Yellow, as they shall be known). So, it came down to Team yellow to either take down the third ghostly hero, giving the win to us, or to let him capture the altar, and let Europe win the HoH for once, and hopefully, gain favour of th gods (When the gods are in your favour, you can access the underworld, and also have much better drops). It does not take a genius to know which they chose, as the ghostly hero surivived, hence ensuring our defeat.

Oh well. Was fun.

I finally won the HoH =D.

Screens:

Hehe. Love those graphics.

P.S. Congrats to Chaos for obtaining his MoH!

Guild Wars Sorrow's Furnace update!

\o/

Finally. More missions to play.

Not that I have time to play. I usually spend 15 minutes or so playing in the Tombs (PvP action, the beauty of Guild Wars) whenever I'm free.

Study Study.

I can't sleep....>_<

Damn those recent events.

In any case, since I can't sleep, I'll work on the topic I was thinking for a while.

Namely, Disneyland Hong Kong, something worth waiting for, or should we all go to Japan?

HK's Disneyland is the smallest in the world. Of course, we all know that the purpose of such a theme park is to attract visitors, not to build a park the size of a space station for us to have fun.

However, on the "charity enterence" day, otherwise known as "Public Beta Test A", 30k people came to Disneyland, expecting a day of fun and joy.

Sadly, they didn't find much, if any.

From the news reports, the place can barely fit 30k people. Organisers are now looking at 15k as tops instead. Here's why: Basically, you have to queue for at least twenty minutes to play even the most boring of the rides. It can stretch to over 2 hours to the rather famous ones. And by famous, I mean those fast rollercoasters, with those neat spins and whatever. Being an Adrenaline Junkie, these would hence be labeled as "famous", as after all, the crowd did love it, and people did queue up 2 hours to ride the machine, even if the ride if barely for 5 minutes.

If you want food, you gotta starve for another 2 hours or so. All the resturants were filled to the brim, and the fact that you are not allowed to bring any food into the theme park (Checking of bags at enterance, another 20 minutes wasted) does not help at all. Even getting hot water to make milk for babies has a queue which last for around 20 minutes.

As for parking, don't even think about it. The whole freaking carpark was filled by noon, although many would prefer a ride using the railway system (MTR), which would be a little cheaper, considering that the Toll and the Fuel costs in Hong Kong these days.

So, wait wait wait wait. Some people for so pissed, they left before the firework finale at 9.

Really, HK $295 (Roughly...SGD$60) isn't exactly worth it. Yes, it's a one day passport. However, toss out all those time you are forced to wait, and you will have barely 2 hours of fun. (Park is open from 10am - 9 pm)

At least, there isn't any major screw ups on the Park's testing day, unlike Hong Kong's International Airport, where there isn't water and electricity for quite a while in some areas of the airport. LoL.

However, I am not really looking forward to going to Disneyland this year. Next year, perhaps. This is due to the fact that the december rush from the Asia countries, especially during the Christmas Break, the time which I would most likely be heading back to Hong Kong. I definately don't want to waste my money just to queue up for 2 hours. Also, in the first year, it is not certain that all the rides will be functioning smoothly.

In fact, just by looking at the site, there seems to be only 6 rides, of which, only 2 looks interesting enough.

Of course, I'm not just there for the rides. There's plenty of stuff to be brought there. Probably a plushie or two would be nice (*giggles like a girl*), but I'm eyeing more of their T-shirts. Something which is useful, and which I can remind myself that "Hey! I've been to this place called Hong Kong Disneyland!"

Still, I will definately have to discuss this issue with my cousins, who would have undoubtly have heard some experience of sorts through their friends. Heck, they could have gone to play by themselves already.

Goddamn, I miss them.

*Yet another normal day on the Innocence...

(OOC: Knowledge of Gundam is required to understand this story)

..yet another way to waste more time.

Rin Kenpachi sighs mentally, as he takes yet another bored look from the viewing gallery of the Minerva class ship which he was assigned to, the Innocence. A veteran from the "Destiny Wars", he has fought against the evil Blue Cosmos, as well as for the Chairman Gil, when the ArchAngel appeared and tried to kill the Chairman. While he was not exactly happy with the "Destiny Plan", he was just a meer soldier, who has to follow orders.

Of course, the ArchAngel killed the Chairman, thanks to the defection of the Minerva, and a new ZAFT chairman was nominated.

Really, Rin doesn't care.

Soldiers should not get involved with politics. Leave the politics to those who are foolish enough to wade in that pool of filth, as he had always said to his friends.

Ever since the Destiny Wars ended, it has been quiet on the front. The peace which was shared between the Coordinators and the Naturals.

However, as every one knew, you still have to be alert, no matter how peaceful it seems to be.

After all, the Destiny Wars started when everyone was least expecting it.

Still, Rin was envious of his two other pilot, and childhood friends, who got the day off, since they were not on duty, wishing that he could join them instead of being stuck in the viewing gallery, waiting for something to happen.

Yet another sigh escaped him, as Rin started to count the number of bird which flew across the sky, doing almost everything to escape boredom.

"One..Two...Th-"

"Announcing Condition Yellow. Announcing Condition Yellow. All Pilots, please report to the briefing room", the sexy voice of the Innocence's accouncer came blaring through the speakers, snapping Rin wide awake from his dreamland.

"The hell?", muttered Rin, as he ran towards the Pilot Briefing room.

Inside the room, the ship's Executive Officer had a video prepared, showing a squadron of ZGMF-2005 GOUF flying in the sky.

"Unidentified GOUFs heading towards this area. As you know, this area is used to create new and experimental machines. We don't want them stealing any."

"Take them out if necesary."

Rin tossed a quick salute, before heading towards the Elevator, which would take him towards the bay which held his Gundam.

Being a Red Coat, which means that he graduated at the top of his class, Rin was given permission to pilot one of the newer GUNDAMs after the Destiny War. This was something his friends envied, as they were still piloting ZAKUs and GOUFs, even though they are allowed to personalise their Machines.

After the usual proceedure of entering his cockpit, Rin activated his Gundam with a switch which controls the power.

Immediately, his controls came to life, each with a diferent set of light representing god-knows-what. His monitor, which was just recently showing a dead grey screen, light up, showing the positions of the enemy GOUFs.

Almost immediately, the words appeared on his screen.

"Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty"

Gunnery
United
Nuclear
Dueterion
Advanced
Maneuver system.

G.U.N.D.A.M.

After the usual trash appeared on his screen (Rin was surprised that they did not toss in Sponsor's logos inside as well), he waited for his GUNDAM to be loaded on the Innocence's Catapults.

"ZGMF-X78Z LEGACY. You're free to launch", the sexy voice came once again.

To that, Rin replied "Rin Kenpachi, LEGACY. Launching!" (Has-shin Shi-lou, read that in Japanese. Bwahahaha -Editor's note), as the panel on top turned from "ABORT ABORT ABORT" to "CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR: LAUNCH".

The normal formalities were said.

Now, it's time to kick some ass.

The catapult gave his Gundam unit enough thrust to launch into the air. Once the power cord was disengaged, he pressed the button labeled "Phase Shift".

Immediately, Legacy, which was coloured a dull grey, seemed to light up like a 500W torchlight in a dark maze. Rin was never one which liked fancy colours, which was why his Robot was white, with a hint of red and blue at certain arm and leg portions. While it may look plain, it was a simple design, enough to be lifely, but not overdoing it. Of course, Phase shift is supposed to be, after all, an armor, not some colour design for a gundam.

Legacy was the Gundam Rin is assigned to. It boasts 2 MX2351 "Solidus Fulgur" beam shield generator (OOC: Think Destiny), a MA-BAR72 high-energy beam rifle (OOC: Rifle from Force Impulse), a MMI-715 "Excalibur" anti-ship sword at the back (OOC:Sword Impulse) on the left, while a M2000GX high-energy long-range beam cannon was on the right (OOC:Destiny once again. That huge thing on Destiny's back).

It is once of the most advanced Gundams developed to date, although many has said that it pales in comparision to the famous Freedom and Justice Gundams. Some were even bold enough to say that the ZGMF-X42S Destiny was better.

Rin doesn't care about which bot is better. It's like some kind of playground fight. "My toy gun is better then yours..." type of remark.

No, what he cares is pilot ability. You can have the best toy gun, but if you can't shoot the pallets worth nuts, then, you won't be hitting anything worth nuts.

The first of the enemy GOUFs appeared on his screen. GOUFs are a bunch of nice Gundam, as Rin has known. However, they simply lack any decent defense. Three of them were destroyed by Legacy's beam Rifle before the GOUFs got anywhere close to use their "Slayer Whips".

Then, the fun began.

Rin used Legacy's superior speed to evade any attack, as he waited for his target module to lock on to any GOUFs before using the M2000GX to blow them into the molecular world. Heck, their standard was so low, Rin was barely using his Beam shields, as he evaded attack after attack.

Suddenly, his Threat Detector beeped, showing an enemy movement to the left. Tossing a Beam shield in that Direction, Rin flew upwards, barely evading an attack from a Red GOUF's Draupnir beam gun.

"So, that's the leader, eh?" Rin muttered, as he blew yet one more enemy GOUF to pieces.

"The battle is over once I take it down."

With that thought in mind, he used his brought his Beam Rifle forward, spamming shots all over the place, while trying to aim at the Red GOUF with his M2000GX.

For some reason, the Red GOUF was able to evade every single beam, while being able to stay out of the lock zone of Rin's M2000GX.

Time to change plans.

Picking up his MMI-715 "Excalibur" anti-ship sword, he activated the beam edge, and the sword. Legacy was not exactly designed for Close range fighting, but the Anti-ship sword has prettu much allowed that to happen, even though Rin would have preferred a Beam sabre.

But no matter.

While the GOUF was fast enough to evade his beam attacks, it was no where near being able to evade the speed of LEGACY's sword attacks.

Soon, Rin found an opening, caused by the GOUF trying to evade a previous strike, which was mistimed, allowing Rin to send a kick towards the GOUF, sending it spiraling towards the Sea.

Smiling, Rin made LEGACY fly towards the GOUF, ready to land the death blow.

"It ends now.."

However, suddenly, is threat detector blared once again, telling Rin to move to the right. Rin activated his beam shield, before moving quickly to the right, his path of attack being disrupted.

Rin was lucky to have moved.

Three seconds slower, and a beam would have pieced right through his Gundam, allowing Legacy to join the piles of trash lying at the bottom of the sea.

"What the...", he said to no one in particular, as he looked towards the source of interruption.

Another white Gundam. Red wings, with blue colourings on his chest.

"It can't be..." Rin muttered in disbelief.

(Insert Gundam Seed Destiny's 4th Ending song here, as camera slowly shifts towards the source of interruption
kimi no sugata wa

)

"Destiny?!?"

(shizuka ni naiteru you ni
mune ni hibiku..
)

(Camera shifts towards inside the cockpit, showing Shinn Asuka, with a determined look on his face)

"Shinn?!?!"

(Ending scene takes over..

nanimo shiranai hou ga....)*

OOC: Since GSD is ending, I had been thinking of doing a Gundam fanfic for a while. This one pretty much came from one of the episodes, 24, I think, the one which Kira appeared and shot Minerva's main "Tannhäuser" cannon.

This story is pretty much making fun at the Gundam Series, the way they do their shows. LoL.

Maybe I'll complete this story one day..

And yes, being a Shinn fan, I don't believe that Shinn will die. =P

Damn.

I'm really sorry for what I did. I don't expect you to forgive me, but I do hope that you will do so someday, even if it's like 30 years down the road. I should not have done what I did, but, to be honest, I wasn't exactly sure whether I was playing myself.....

Hurricane Katrina

Hurricanes are never nice.

Especially when they hit on a country that is supposed to be well prepared, but ends up being no where being ready for a small scale tornado.

So, recently, New Orleans has been hit with a Hurricane. For a country that was as advanced and as rich as America, the results of the Hurricane was rather surprising.

And no, I'm not talking about the damage caused, although that was a cause for concern.

What I'm talking about, is how slowly the government responded. One would have thought that troops and supplies would be moving in almost immediately after the Hurricane passed, given that everyone had ample time to prepare for the Hurricane.

However, a quick flip to CNN 48 hours later shows that this isn't the case. This is even more so, when you see the mayor coming so close to swearing at the government for their slowness. On CNN, you can see that the people were just sitting around, doing nothing, their faces full of sadness and despair. Law and disorder is rampant, as everyone is simply looting the place. It's a free for all, winner takes all, **** you game in the most powerful nation in the world.

Why did this happen?

Simple: Iraq.

New Orleans is one of the areas which is Hurricane prone. Yet, funds to control the damage was reduced, thanks to the war in Iraq, which is sapping quite a bit of cash from the US government. On top of that, military resources, such as trucks, boats, and whatever, are sent to Iraq, resulting in a shortage of such transport means. Troops, plentyful and all ready to help, were no where to be seen, as many were posted to Iraq.

Iraq. Iraq. Iraq.

What the hell was the president thinking when he sent troops to Iraq? Hell, if America was so chaotic after a Hurricane, what would happen if someone detonated a nuke? What if some one used this chaos to toss a nuke into America soil?

Boom. China would be the strongest nation, I guess.

Personally, I have no idea why the Americans re-elected him in the first place. Of course, Kerry isn't exactly the best of the Democrat choices, but with things such as the Iraq war and stuff, you would have thought that Kerry got quite a decent shot at winning the election. Yeah yeah, freedom and whatever. However, I don't see any plans to get the troops out of Iraq yet. It's always the same "Thanks to us, Iraqis are now free! w00t!" speech from Bush.

Oh well. Thanks to him, the oil prices are sky rocketing. Sure, Bush has tossed in the reserves, and it dropped to roughly US$70 per barrel. However, in pre-iraq times, one barrel barely cost $35 a barrel, and that is during the rough times.

Another point to note is the gap between the rich and the poor in Americans. As noted in many newspapers, those who remained in New Orleans, despite the order to evacuate, were the poor, and mostly black. I'm not being racist here, but the gap between the rich and the poor is obvious. The rich could simply drive to the nearest airport, take a flight to....say, LA, and stay at their relative's place. The poor, sadly, would have to ride it out.

Again, if it was Washington that got hit, would the supplies have came faster?

Interesting thought.

Hopefully, the Americans won't vote for the wrong president the next time. I mean, if Bush has to ask Clinton, a Democrat, to appear and show support, it does show that the Republicans are in trouble.

And yes, I'm pro democrat.

Sigh.

Rejection sucks.

XD

Never mind.

I'll try again after the As.

I'LL GET HER IF THAT'S THE LAST THING I DO.

Watch me, Chaos. =D

Although I have other plans after the As....

Damn. I guess I lose this one. XD

After a night of NOTD...

I'm still wide awake.

So, I've decided to work on her picture.

For some unknown reason, while I can easily match a colour for Lin Pin, I had a trouble picking one for her. Blue was too dark, while red was a little off.

So, I've finally decided on pink, with a screen blend instead of the usual Hard Light. Also, the water mark, for some reason, had to came from Shuffle. GSD and GunXSword did not fit, and I'm too lazy to redownload that scene study AMV show.

Since I don't post anyone's picture on the net (The last one was an exception....XD), if you want to see it, just ask.

Hospitals.....

If there is one place which I simply hated going. Hospitals would be it. The stench of death is everywhere, a depressing air hangs over the wards, and the fact that no one goes in without a good reason is a good reason for me to avoid hospitals whenever I can.

Unless a friend is warded.

Fengzhi was one of the victims of Dengue fever. Xin Lan scared me to near death yesterday with that MSN IM of hers (Please don't do that again...), saying that Fengzhi was hospitalised. Unfortunately, I had to head over to my Mom's shop first, and so, I could only visit her at a later time, possibily without anyone with me (Not that I mind).

That night was not exactly the best of the nights.

Today, the front page of the HOME section of Straits Times was not exactly the best of them all, with yet another dude passing on with the help of Dengue Fever. However, I was still hoping for the best. Xbox at DTE with my brother after helping out at my Mom's shop was out of question, as I rushed towards Simei MRT station, willing the train to move faster.

Thankfully, I was right.

When I met up with Keith and Lan jie, they said that Fengzhi was in pretty good spirits (Can still talk. XD!) That definately boosted my spirits, as I was in a rather dull mood for the most of the day (I'm always like that when something happened to my friends, and I can do nothing about it).

Joelson came at around 4:30, and so, the two of us took a shuttle bus towards Changi General Hospital.

Once there, I immediately felt something was wrong. The usual air of death and sadness was heavier then usual.

When I reached the floor which Fengzhi was warded, and entered at around 5, I realised why.

Yet another one has moved on. The staff gathered outside the place where they placed the beds, as the dude was moved out.

For someone who has yet to see someone actually pass away, that was incredibily depressing.

However, my mood lightened after I saw Fengzhi.

She was rather cheerful, partially because she was going to be discharged soon (paper work took a few hours? :O). The three of us, with her mother, were all chatting and stuff. No need to disclose everything here, but it's enough to say that Fengzhi had plenty of presents, which is a rather clear indicator as to how huge her circle of friends is. XD.

Some dude called Benedict came, and he was a rather nice guy. We continued chatting till around 6:30 (I was supposed to reach home at 6:30, but screw it), which was the time she was discharged.

I declined the offer for a drink with Fengzhi and her mom, as I needed to go home. However, I was also rather glad to have some fresh air, after inhaling huge amounts of depressment in the hospital. Not that Fengzhi had anything to do with it. That girl was so cheerful, it made the dull rainy day almost like a sunny one. XD

Still, I'll avoid hospitals unless it's totally necessary to head into one.

Visiting a friend is a good reason to visit a hospital.

Especially if the friend is a nice one.

I just hope that I won't have to step into one again though.

Met some old classmates, and I must admit that it's been so long, I forgot how good Lin Pin looked. --unknown

Enough with my life. I'll talk about something else tomorrow.
